Located in the center of Ivory Coast which is the political capital, and despite being a medium-sized and strategically located city they luxurious and modern, with a lot of religious and tourist facilities and administrative issues.
The importance of Yamoussoukro came from being the birthplace of the first president and founder of the state Hovi Felix Bonnier, who was born in 1905 and it ruled the country from 1960 through the date of independence from the Ivory Coast, its former colony of France, and until his departure in 1993.
